You made a good point that each reach class wants a different SerDes, but NuLink-XD also spans chip-to-chip and chip-to-module. But then where does that flexibility stop in practice? If the package or channel loss changes late, is it mostly a preset change, or do you have to rerun the full PVT, BER and link-training qualification?

I may have missed it but could you share the pJ/bit versus insertion-loss curve behind the power claim? I’m curious how much of the gain remains when the baseline is matched for reach, BER/FEC and process, rather than comparing a short-reach setting with a worst-case long-reach SerDes.

Each application would need to be qualified. NuLink-XD offers the different reach modes. Each mode is qualified/
