Title: 400/800G for Data Centers
Abstract: The escalation in network bandwidth due to the evolving landscape of AI-powered applications is accelerating the need for higher speed networking in the data centers that are denser, higher performance, lower power and lower cost. In this talk I will discuss the evolution of 400G systems for next-generation leaf-spine fabrics and evolving to higher 800G and 1.6T speeds in the future.Bio: Hardev Singh is responsible for product management of the data center and campus platform product lines. He has been at Arista since early 2021, and has over 16 years’ experience of networking technology, having spent 13 years at Cisco in both Product Management and Systems Engineering roles, where he was part of the product management team that developed the Nexus 9000 data center switches, transceiver modules and Catalyst 4500 & 6500 campus switches. Originally from India, Hardev holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
